    While I do believe the progenitor of the Wall Butt is, indeed, Mr. P., I still think it is much older than that.

    For the slightly younger members out there:

    Winnie the Pooh gets stuck in the hole leading out of Rabbit's residence. Prior to the entire population of the Hundred-Acre Wood helping out, Rabbit had resorted to using Pooh's magnificent behind as a wall decoration by sticking on paper antlers and drawing a face on it.
