Finally got around to playing NieR: Automata, after I had bought it back in March.  I wasn't really sure what to expect with this game, since the only thing that caught my eye was how the combat looked and the only other exposure to the game were other 2B fan art (and man there's a lot of fan art focusing on her butt :o ) .

The first few minutes of the game were amazing; I hadn't had that much fun like that with a game in a good while.  The lack of a save point during the prologue didn't bother me at all, and it actually acts as an incentive to learn the game (don't die if you don't want to start from the beginning, again).  After the prologue, I was already hooked and the game still had more to offer: great game play, story, music, and visuals.  The first, second, and third playthroughs should really be treated as Act1-III, with the third act having two outcomes. Both outcomes, endings C and D, are required for ending E, the game's "true ending", and will be unlocked right after unlocking C and D.

TL;DR: The game is great.  Play it if you haven't already or are still on the fence about it.  There's more to the game than 2B's butt.  ;p
