    Sure, when it comes to certain 'areas', she may not be able to compete with the other carriers... or destroyers for that matter... she can only really compete with escort ships.... B-BUT, at least Ryuujou has aged well for being in her 80's! okie2plz

    I wouldn't either, but just looking at them closely you can see how they are "softened" body photos with anime-ified parts added on. In this case the comparatively rougher drawing and shading of the skirt points to it having been added overtop. post #2092350 is a much clearer example; all the muscle and bone detail of the softened photo are there, her left forearm was drawn, then the hand cut from another photo laid on the end of it. The clothes were sketched on top just like this one. The face and hair were drawn over it last with a completely different detail level, shading style, and even skin color.

    In fact, looking at this one more, I can see where the exact same thing was done with RJ's left forearm; there's a clear line of shade difference at the wrist where the photographed hand was merged onto the drawn forearm, and possibly again in the middle of the elbow where the forearm meshes with the upper arm.
