Honestly, the most surprising thing to me was that the backwards gimmick actually worked about as well in English as in Japanese. I half-expected grammar differences to make it unworkable, but though it's definitely a bit janky at parts, it's still way better than I dared expect.
Yeah. In the first story it looked like Seija was the killer and the man escaped from her with the woman's help. In the reverse version it turned out that Seija saved the woman from the man.
