At least the grail did something right (not that I hate Kotomine or anything, at least he raised a better Shirou than Kiritsugu).

I think he's talking about Fate/Apo's Shirou, even though as far as i'm remember that Fate/Apo Shirou is not Fate/SN Shirou.

People always make that mistake. If you look the timeline, Apo!Shiro is too old to be FSN Shiro

Really? Well, my only thought was that it was a different timeline where instead of Kiritsugu, Kotomine saved Shirou (although I can't really see a reason for he to do that)... with that said, thank you for clearing it up, if not, I'd probably keep thinking that for a looong time.
But even so, Kotomine Shirou > Emiya Shirou (IMO).

The Apo timeline diverges from F/0 and F/SN timeline before the third Holy Grail War.

Pretty big spoilers if you haven't read Apo LNs or played Japanese version of Fate/GO:
Apo Shirou is Amakusa Shirou, a 17th century Japanese christian who led a rebellion against Shogunate and is considered a folk saint in Japan. Now the big point of divergence in Apo timeline is that instead of summoning Avanger Angra Mainyu Einzberns summoned Amakusa as a Ruler-class servant which led to Darnic stealing the greater grail (with help from Nazis) and moving it to the Romania

uhhh Kirei wasnt born yet in a grail war 60 years ago. It was his father a young Kotomine Risei that was the overseer for the war that took in and raised the Shirou.
