So, did you guys saw the movie?

For me, they were some great idea but I wanted to have a bit more of the drama with Kisaragi. And would have prefer a better epilogue.
I won't spoil too much if you didn't see the movie yet.

Also, do you have a better translation about the "welcome home" part? Because in fact, Mutsuki said "Okaerinyasai" so I don't know how to tweak that part.

I think the plot is weak, although the fight scenes are lot better than the anime

Better than the anime at least, wished they could have made it a bit longer so the whole thing didn't feel rushed.

I lost count how many times Mutsuki cries in the movie. Won't say much about the plot, but fight scenes are really good. Fairies working on the equipment is super cute.

The animation team really like Fubuki x Yamato, don't they?

The plot is certainly weak, still better than anime though. I wonder where the Taihou that came in and saved the day back then had gone to. If they add how Kisaragi got her rigging, something like what Kofunami Nana had drawn, it would be better. Also, Aircraft Carrier Oni needs more screen time.

All we got was 3 seconds of her back hahaha. In the subbed version she is referred as "Carrier Princess though". During her very brief cameo she was standing from her Abyssal rigging, so I guess she's CV hime instead?

Well, the different between Hime and Oni is her clothing, so I guess it's fine!

I watched again CV hime's beautiful 3 second cameo of her back and I can confirm it's her hime form since a brief moment partially showed that her clothing was torn.

(SPOILER ALERT) They should have end when Fubuki got eaten and then continue with the Season 2

Wanted to see Shigure animated this time but no.
On the other hand, I have a friend who's super happy seeing Tenryuu voiced and animated.

Season 2 needs a change of MC and Naval Base with different ShipGirls.

I think the more appropriate term is "succumbed" or "gave in". Personally, I prefer Fubuki turning into an Abyssal and reappear in Season 2 as some sort of neutral Abyssal.

I was a bit sad at the ending since she didn't go MIA and turn into an Abyssal, but I'm fine at the good ending though.
