To be fair, this isn't so much translation as transliterating Engrish written in katakana with inconsistent handwriting. Even if I saw it as "WARA FAKKU", I'm not sure I would have made any more sense of it than "FURA FAKKU". (Wouldn't it make more sense as "WADA FAKKU"?)

American English accents often pronounce an intervocalic /t/ or /d/ as a flap very similar to the Japanese /r/, so it's not unreasonable.

All that said, "What in the furry fuck?!" seems like a perfectly reasonable variant profanity for a Friend, albeit possibly not a bird one.
