If what previous comments say about the all ages doujins being the same timeline as the R-18 doujins is true, then it is cheating in that it wasn't sanctioned by Sazanami. She doesn't mind too much if she's aware of it (He DID fuck her and all her sisters at once in one doujin).

There just doesn't seem to be much point in splitting the timeline because...well, he cheats regardless.

I don't think its so much cheating as it is them being in a...open relationship.

I don't know where people are getting that the relationship is open in the "All-Ages" version though? Nothing in those pages really suggests that, unlike the various H-doujin chapters that show Sazanami having a completely different approach to other people being with the Admiral.

Sazanami normally only allows Admiral to have sex with other girls with the purpose of sparkling them. As in, as part of the job. There have been exceptions (Akigumo, Akebono), but that's the gist of it.

Then there are those that seduce the Admiral when Sazanami's not looking.

So the admiral's having a bit of trouble separating work and pleasure? Sounds like he a prostitute or something, which actually may not be far from the truth from the true purpose of an admiral.

If I were him, I'd dump Sazanami, because one woman is nowhere near enough for me.
