An argument could be made that she gave Miko the sword back when Miko was mortal and she was futzing around as a noh performer named Hata no Kawakatsu. Anyone know if we can link Shoutoku to the Tokoyo no Kami in an adversarial sense? Might go a long way to connecting Miko and Okina as more than just patron and performer.
