Actually, yes. Blizzard is an understatement, considering the -100 degrees celsius freeze she unleashed on Chaldea.

We're gonna get a lot of "Let it Go" parodies with her. I can feel it.

Russia has a long history of warrior kings and queens(Rurik, Peter the Great, Olga of Kiev), its own epic poem with its own heroes(Dobrynya, Murometz) and has it's own mythology with its own pantheon. I have no clue why people seem to have to only remember this girl whose best known feat is being assassinated to the extent that they have to constantly shoehorn magic powers into her to make her a viable fantasy character.

The only other Russian character people seem to ever remember is creep monk Rasputin, and that's a sad thing to say for such a huge and powerful country.

Well, iirc, Peter the Great, Catherine the Great and Joseph Stalin were Russian leaders in the Civilization game series. Joseph Stalin also was, with Kane as his right hand man, Soviet leader in the first installation of Red Alert. Eiyuu Senki features gender-bent Ivan the Terrible and visual novel Osananajimi wa Daitouryou has Irina Vladimirovna Putina as one of the heroines (who is a very obvious reference to the current Russian leader).

So everything isn't as bad as it seems, I think. Sure I'd also love to see Oleg the Seer, Sergius of Radonezh or Alexander Nevsky in non-Russian games, but, unfortunately, they aren't as widely known.

That's fine. Who doesn't love Let It Go by the band Great Big Sea? -joke about a better song at Frozen's expense-

Well, if that makes it any better we don't know which Anastasia she is... and in fact from what little has been revealed about her so far there's a higher chance of her being Ivan the Terrible's wife than the princess everybody usually talks about.

Though the Lostbelt gimmick means that all the servants from there can deviate from history in even sillier ways than usual...
