Actually, with 5 seconds warning on when enemy is shooting, you can dodge even as a ship. Same applies to torpedoes. Bombs, not so much, but you will know which bomb will hit from which plane, if AA can get that info, you will have some chance.
That's the theory, but in truth, it might not come off like that though.

I think it's also about accepting the tsukkomi.

If you land on a bad foot, you won't be able to react quick enough to dodge in 5 seconds. Knowing where you're going to be hit is still astronomically advantageous, though. It'll allow you to brace yourself and potentially set up for a fight-ending counter hit.

What exactly does it mean to see 5 seconds into the future, though? Is it like knowing the experiences of the you 5 seconds in the future? RJ being a carrier, would she be able to tell where the enemy (or enemy torpedoes) are going to be 5 seconds before her planes spot them, allowing the group to prepare for an attack without the enemy being aware?
