As for why Tashkent is here and doing part of the explanations, she was called the "Blue Cruiser" «Голубой крейсер» by Russian sailors, as a reference to her paintjob and size. Голубой actually refers to a light shade of blue, ranging from sky-blue to azure to cyan, so "Sky-Blue Cruiser" would be a more accurate translation (or "Azure Cruiser", which sounds more poetic). The Japanese translation preserves this distinction better compared to the English , as it explicitly names her 空色 (sky-blue, lit: "sky color").
