    Im finally baaack, after my pc got that screen problem I pretty much avoided it, even to look at it cos theres a bunch of commissions left unfinished for me to get done, It feels so weird to use it whenever I get a "break"...so Im pretty rusty, heres a sketch of my new OTP! 
    My pc is not fixed yet, as Im gonna need it for a VERY important process coming up, Ill have to keep using it as it as and well I think I still got it! XD </span>

    A 2018 anime series brings back memories of a 1985 song, "Broken Wings" by Mr. Mister? Now that's new.

    The song isn't quite accurate to the series though. Zero Two made Hiro like herself, though it was his actions that unintentionally set him down that road. And their wings aren't broken, it's just that they need to work together to fly.

    You can't metaphor a metaphor, that's like crossing the streams. See, you're thinking too hard, the broken wings obviously are their misguided beliefs - his belief that it's fine if he dies as long as he gets to ride and her belief that she can become human if she kills enough Klaxos.

    @bunkhead What about trying to see where the artist came from regarding a song that inspired that artist?

    The song does have something else that fits this couple's situation, though. It mentions a "book of love," and the picture book the two shared was an influence on their love affair..

    But this picture looks to me more like a bad end of some kind. As though after all this FRANXX piloting with Zero Two, Hiro's body is starting to reject the saurification process and the foreign material in his system, meaning he hasn't long to live before wholesale organ failure, perhaps less than a year. He felt useless as a human, but the possibility of dying as a broken half-klaxosaur probably isn't something he counted on to happen.
