@Xelos: Yeah...the only girl I've seen go Super Saiyan was Jessica in DQ8.

I think its more they came when the DB series lost popularity plot twist and time traveling and such

Pan and Bra only appeared in a brief cameo at the end of the manga.

Then they were in GT, but Toriyama had very little to do with that. IIRC he did character designs but had nothing to do with the story. Which might be why it was made of fail and everybody not named Goku was background scenery.
