Throwback to 2011, when I first started practicing digital tools, painting some of these personal illustrations in Paint Tool SAI without having any clue of what I was doing.

After getting my first job as a concept artist in video game development company in 2012, I switched to Photoshop, realized that I really want to improve and started studying things like anatomy, composition, color theory and storyboarding. 

I still remember how these small 2011’s pieces were the first time I ever had fun while drawing.

I think that because of those first experiences with Paint Tool SAI I actually believed that doing illustrations can be something I’d like to do for a living, so I’m really glad I’ve done those.

Not really sure why there’s little duckling symbol everywhere though.
