Anyone know the story behind the new outfit? I'm only playing the US release so it'll be a while before Abi makes an appearance.
It's from the anniversary promo Craft Essences. A bunch of characters get special artwork for the occasion. Last year's was party themed so it was mostly cocktail dresses, classy outfits, etc (except the Okeanos characters who decided to go to the beach, and the Babylonia crew who were wearing yukatas instead). This year everybody's going on a holiday trip, so lots of casual outfits, hiking/camping gear, and for some reason traditional chinese costumes.

Abigail appears to have gone to San Fransisco in her art, as you can see the Golden Gate Bridge in the background. It only makes sense she would be visiting her home country.

Bit surprising that she wouldn't want to see more of her home region, though; New England has changed a lot since her day.
Hell, there's even a witch museum in her hometown she'd probably enjoy making fun of.

Everyone who go to America is in San Fransisco; the background are all the same, but from different angles. You see from the way the animal balloons are seen in the pictures.
