Motherfuckers who didn't give Avatar a shot because it was on Nick, let alone because it was shot stateside, would suddenly find interest in this take.

That less talking and more fighting, is impossible I've hear more talking in fighting anime all the time.
I never gave avatar a shot cause I was ignoring all anime including american anime. Even if it's being fan drawn by a japanese artist I still wouldn't watch it, I don't like "Elemental magic fighting".
If Avatar were a shounen anime they would spend the same amount of time talking and fighting but half the talking scenes would be replaced by stupid "HIS POWER LEVEL IS MAXIMUM, I'LL COUNTER WITH TRAP BENDING" shit rather than character development and jokes.
Plus Toph is already tsundere for Sokka, it just doesn't subsume the rest of her character. "The rest of her character" meaning blind jokes and legendary badassery. lol at her face in this picture, she looks like she really has to pee or something.

You cant be serious - i have always found Avatar to be superior to most anime in realistic martial arts animation and details - as in toph feet get blacker and blacker when she doesn't take a bath - or getting bags under there eyes after days of no sleep - but then again this comes from korean animator who express details in their manhwa over what japan does in animation - thats why so many korean animators are now being attached to big named animes
