    Moefication problems: it makes things go both way: better or worse. Retroactively, and progressively, even.

    You know what you must do: Pacifist Run (outside of the Koopa Kids - they live, anyway) Super Mario World to set right what once went wrong.

    In Mario World 2, there are still bottomless pits that are instant death, as are even relatively small spikes that are brittle enough to shatter with watermelon seeds, oddly enough.

    This is only true if the height you are falling from has a platform below and its not a bottomless pit you're falling in (which'll instantly kill Yoshi).
