Anyway, that's a tough one, because the English titles for Touhou games never seem to be literal translations of the Japanese titles. Here we have 氷夏郷.

氷: ice
夏: summer
郷: village

None. It's not the title of any of the published games.

Of course it's not, duh. I wanted some moonspeaker to coin a title using what the artist put in here.

It seems to be a play off of 紅魔郷 - the Embodiment of Scarlet Devil.

紅魔郷 literally means Scarlet Devil Village, by the way. So, this game would be Ice Summer Village.

Look, I know everyone loves to look up 郷 in edict and call it Village, but that's not really a satisfying translation. The name 幻想郷 is modeled after things like 桃源郷 or 理想郷, so it's obvious that it should be read as Fantasy Land. (Also, if you've ever played a Toehoe game you might have noticed that it's not a fucking village at all.)
Similarly, 紅魔郷 is "Land of the Scarlet Devil" (remember how the red mist spreads all over Gensokyou? even though you can't actually see it because ZUN is gay), and 氷夏郷 is "Land of the Frozen Summer".

Nice work there LaC. On the other title too, though I'd just say EoHG, without the article, as to make the engrish look more genuine.

I was aware of the meaning of 郷 and intended to give it better coverage, but you may notice that I had stuffed up my original comment and was so urgently trying to fix that I forgot all about it.

Yup... as a ice fairy not really powerful... she just "summons" ice and cold
but spirit of the ice, incarnation of the ice... with her power to the max
i think it would make awesomes spell cards

blizzard from the very beggining to the end of the fight:

the blizzard covers parts of the screen in white so you have to "follow" the attacks with the eye and dodge them with only being able to see random spots
(moving to this spots etc and dodging)

Or you can get a strong wind that push you in a way and the way changes with the attacks

Or that you stay to much time without moving the snows makes you slower for time

Or the screen gets "smaller" due snow blocking parts

Maybe get slipery in parts

Blocks of ice like walls make you unable to move freely

and lot of things

I mean in the normal game she's the first boss at her usual strength, but at the end of the Extra level you fight Ex Cirno.

And the safe spot remark was due to the blatant safe spot in front of her during her icicle fall spell card.

Akin to the rumored Ex-Rumia, I'd suspect Ex-Cirno wouldn't be so stupid. (I can imagine such a powerful occurrence due to some kind of cold related phenomenon that was caused by someone else... and it in turn powered Cirno up.); It'd be funny if Ex-Rumia was the mid boss of such a level.

That's only on Easy, though. Well, in EoSD, at least.
