This doesn't really concern the current events of this series, but lately I've been kinda missing the presence of some of the usual crew. Yamame, Tani Takeshi, etc. Seems like lately it's been nothing but Ran for most part.

Eating meat doesn't guarantee kidney stones. A lot of them are formed from oxalates, which you'd get more of drinking excessive amounts of black tea or eating broccoli. Hell, you get more of it from spinach and miso soup than you do from cow or pig.

Unless he's drinking miso by the liter on a daily basis...

Aren't urinal tracts supposed to be, you know, really narrow since it's meant only for fluids to pass?

That being the case, wouldn't pissing out a solid object cause some really intense pain in a guy's yoohoo?

Yes, it's extremely painful. For everyone, not just men. And sometimes they're big enough that they won't actually fit through the urethra, so they have to be crushed with sound waves or even surgically removed. In really bad cases they might have to just take out the whole kidney, if you have a lot of huge ones.
