This new one looks better, but I'm not sure it will make any difference.

The original artist that did the art for West Virginia,Colorado and Maryland was such a giant asshole. So much so that Yo-Star just scrapped his artwork and made new ones to replace them. How disgraceful that guy was man, glad they thew his art out. Also you should upload the Minneapolis art, as she's thew only one missing as of now.

Basically what he's suggesting was, due to AL's success in Japan, the devs will start sucking Japanese dicks, glorify the IJN, and corrupt young Chinese minds into B杂 which means AL bastards.

I'm pretty sure that and them making FW the hardest event so far, is why it's taken stupidly long for JP to get Fallen Wings. The extreme mode would not have been possible in Dec of last year when it came out. I just hope it doesn't happen again.

Well, after all that story, I was thinking it's amazing that AL is now popular (to the point that they even announced an anime and a PS4 game, not to mention a worldwide release) after so many other , which they totally deserved it.

I, myself, enjoy the game especially when I could drop much better the featured characters than any other Gacha games and without spending a single cents.

The vast majority of the WSG Chinese fanbase were people who couldn't breach the internet wall (since if they could they would be playing KC instead). So most of their retarded behaviors also stayed inside the wall.
Also in overseas, the political environment and WSG's fanbase size did not allow WSG fanboys to wage war on KC like they did in China.

In Tieba and NGA's KC subforum, anything related to WSG are highly forbidden. You may be banned for only posting a crossover fanart there. The AL subforums are not as heavily guarded, but WSG is still frowned upon.

Also KC didn't take any action against AL officially, so it tolerates AL's existance as much as it does with WSG. Only the fans are having a bitter relationship due to various stupid reasons.

In a Burger King ad, they will talk all the time about how their fries won a taste test competition against McDonald's fries or something, because they're trying to get McDonald's customers to give them a glance, but in a McDonald's commercial? No other restaurant exists. So far as the world in a McDonald's commercial goes, you can either eat McDonald's, or you can go eat leaves off the bushes or something. Even acknowledging that there IS competition, even to say they're shit, is giving them free advertising and admitting there is weakness enough in your lineup that you even acknowledge there is something that even threatens to take customers from you.

WSG is basically crushed against the first and the new one. Still KC's Kongou of course is popular (that WoWS players knows/hates her) than her counterparts, but in terms of utility both KC and WSG can be used well than the AL one due how the game mechanic works.

I'd imagine they would like to do something more overt but it'd show far more weakness than the above two actions. KC always reminds you their skins are free. They did this many times before AL existed.
As for the Kanmusu controversy, it's done by an outsourced ad company, and reported to AL by fans. Then AL tweeted an apology and removed the ad. All of these happened before the statement from KC you mentioned.
So KC's statement was more of a "yeah I saw what you did there" to the incident.

I do remember a few little jabs from AL though. One is during the anniversary livestream when they announced the anime, Mafia Kajita told AL's dev not to "make unnecessary character deaths". And their recent Line emoji features AL Zuikaku doing the Zui Zui dance. But that emoji package also has loads of memes from other series like Hellsing, TTGL and Hokuto No Ken, etc. Also Zui Zui dance was never acknowledged by KC officially.

i like WSG's designs in general(especially Queen Elizabeth) if it the planned english version was released before AL's i would have been playing that one. oh and i am one of those players who use Shipgirls based on their looks/personality more thatn skills. :D

Actually even the weakest ships (except for Bulins) can clear chapter 12 if you max-level them and give them the best equipment.

Not so well. They made less than 200K USD last month (compare to AL's 19M USD), and they literally just fired the whole marketing department a few weeks ago.

Wasn't it DMM who solely brought it up though? As they should because they're the one copyrighted the term "kanmusu", which was unknowingly used by an ad company hired by AL representative in JP.

That's possible but very unlikely. As later chapters become insanely hard over time that skills become more as important as levels and equipment. Also there is that retarded tiering which is why a majority of the girls get ignored.

To be fair Mafia tends to be pretty aware of fandom memes and probably wasn't instructed to make such a quip.
