Hello!  It's my 307th color commission and hey it's actually a series that I've done before as it's time for one of the most popular series in Japan at the moment Love Live!  But it's no ordinary Love Live! picture as it's a crossover between the two different series, the original Love Live! and Love Live! Sunshine!! as we have Maki Nishikino from the original Love Live! and we have Kanan Matsuura from Sunshine and it's a character that you have seen before if you followed me.  Now I've colored a lot of Love Live characters before and this is no different as like before the characters are wearing...*looks at the picture*...different diving equipment from the other pictures...huh...combo breaker much Sweating a little...

Anyways this is a storyline that Shooter is in the process of making as it will involve a crossover between the two different series and how the characters interact with each other and also the different ways they get into scuba diving and go diving together.  How it all started is with Maki meeting up with Kanan and after the two hit it up Kanan brought up about scuba diving and Maki being the curious girl that she is, wonders what it's like and she wants to explore the underwater world with Kanan.  Long story short the two worked together and now they are ready to dive with the two of them wearing some heavy equipment including a BCD jacket, a full face mask (which it's actually been a while since I've colored those) and a rebreather for an air tank.  Notice how they are expelling any air bubbles as it returns to the air tank and recycles it producing more oxygen.  In other words they can be underwater for a long time, not an infinite time mind you but a long time regardless.  Which is handy as the two right now are doing an endurence test as they are going to swim to one location far away and then swim back as the location in mind is a unique place where they could see a beautiful landscape and plenty of interesting and cute creatures as the two swim on looking forward to that moment.

Coloring I do have to admit due to the massive details on the gear they were wearing I cut some corners a bit.  While I did try to color the characters like they were in the anime outside of a few details you can see in the gear I didn't go all out with it.  Not that I need to but I mainly go all out with pictures I fully like regardless of detail but it's one of those that I do like the outcome of it but not in love with it like everyone is going to be as I know that this picture would be huge due to the gear not being weird and feature mainstream characters that a lot of people love.  Just saying and all.

Still it's nice to color this and hey having to color a full face mask picture where you could see their full expressions is okay with me ^^
