Already change. This was in the game files until the Cranes are made officially playable

Actually it was done before Nagato's long time ago. Sadly he remove it from pixiv for some reason.

Not likely considering they're still doing stuff for the game (Ark Royal anyone?) As to why the cranes changed artist hands... that's a curious thing.
