    Ridicule is uncalled-for because that’s exactly how sandstar works. Touching sandstar (Super Mushroom) turns an animal into a Friend. When the effect of the sandstar (Super Mushroom) expires (because it is consumed by a Cerulean), the Friend turns back into an animal, losing their memories in the process.

    I believe the official works don’t show any Friends getting critically injured, so we can’t say if they’ll just die as a Friend, turn back into an animal but still die, or simply have their Friend transformation undone so that they’ll turn back into an animal and continue living.
