Another study, but this time I wanted to stylize the original reference, not trying to copy it and paint exactly the same as the image.
I find this more helpful in terms of exploring personal style :D

However I still struggle with original art as I had to think about pose, composition and everything while referencing practice already got that for you. 
But hopefully the more I draw the more I'm used to these aspects and speeds up my drawing process.
