I feel bad for her tails being like that.... tails are the continuation of the spine, so being snapped 180 degrees back surely does not feel nice. Unless the base is right beneath the rim of the pants so she can keep them at a 90 degree angle like most cats do and cannot pull the pants up more than her tails allow it, which is somehow kind of kinky......

personally it makes the most sense when they have a little slit in the legwear where the tail can comfortably slip into and has a flap with a button to close above the tail like here, except not that deep of a slit.....

I have seen numerous pics over the years with animal eared girls wearing bikinis and various other outfits that include at least some kind of opening at the back for their tails. Can't think up any examples to link right now though.
I do like it when artists go that extra mile to add such a simple and logical detail. And then there are the artsits that draw the tail as though it is coming out of the girl's ass.
