I don't really stay on top of gaming channels, but I thought Pew's popularity was dead for years until the "controversy(s?)" happened. Ironically I don't think Pew's haters realize that the more you attack the dude, the more popularity he gets. That was how filthyfrank and meidocafe made their fanbase... triggering people into being fans.
