The Abyss have always been freaky, even spooky to a degree. But this is the first time I've seen one that is outright terrifying. I wonder what she represents?
Ok somehow I can't accept the fact that she is "just" Abyssal Nisshin. This boss design look frightful and intimidate too much.
I mean if someone tell me she is some kind of ancient devil/god or something i will be accept it. Told me she is just Abyssal Noodle cup seaplane ship that you will not use her much and will forget it later on seem...... kinda off and wasteful......

In a sense, it perfectly represent the 'power downgrade from befriending' troupe. Like in the last case for Krum from Demon Lord turned from 10-meters tall demon into a loli.
Probably the best Abyssal design yet. Looks mysterious and of great power, but still humanoid.

If there was a good explanation for it, it would be nice. Otherwise, that's just stupid.

Well, if you have seen the Kancolle Arcade representation of Abyssal designs, Himes and Onis are outright huge compared to the base abyssal units. Even Hoppo, which is actually taller than an adult shipgirls.
Those eyes, I presume. Staring straight into the abyss of your soul.
Stop looking at her...those are eyes that will bring you to the Abyss. Her appearance and aura will convert weak minded individuals to their cause...Wake up

Nisshin is actually very stong among AV, so I doubt that most admiral would ignore her.
She looks as if she was pulled straight out of Fatal Frame 3 or 4 (Yashuu or Sakuya, to be exact), and given a color palette swap. Never played Fatal Frame 5 though, so can't say if she resembles anyone in there.
*P/S: nanoja loli best loli, and the Charisma Guard she does on chuuha is a must protecc.
