I didn't really get it either, but similar to this anonymous's guess, the joke could be that the word Yuyuko uses- "mote"- can mean either "sexy" or "popular." I guess Youmu only intended the former.

"moteru" is also (rarely-used) slang for a drive-in love hotel in Japan. Yuyuko probably fainted from the implications of that.
