  • A tiny forest song.

My submission for Hero of the Ages: An Illustrated Anthology. I'm incredibly honored to have been able to participate in this with so many other amazing artists, so thank you for the awesome opportunity!
You can check out the Kickstarter here. The project has already reached over $3000 of its original funding goal. You can also find them on Tumblr and Twitter. All proceeds go to a good cause.

Majora's Mask is my favorite Zelda game so I feel lucky that I was selected to draw for this game. I experimented with a completely different approach to this and I'm quite satisfied with the result. The only downside is that it's harder to determine when the painting looks finished. Overall though this painterly approach feels much more liberating since I limited it to only a few layers instead of my usual hundred.
Special thanks to Shiranova for the Photoshop help since my desktop computer has been broken for the past few months. Honestly I should probably just shell out the money for a new desktop at this point. My desktop has too many other problems not even including the power supply failure issue.

What is your favorite Zelda game and why?
