If I'm not mistaken this is from Majora's Mask? It was a song that would create a clone of link to act as a switch holder.

That Link statue always creeped me out. The 64 Zelda game are scary!

The statues were meant to be like a reflection of the soul of the one who plays the song, and link is looking at his own statue personification like saying 'WTF, is that me?!'

I always thought it looked, somehow, a bit like WW Link...dunno why O-o
