I think it's a pun on their Japanese pronunciations.
Cygnet = Shigunito Magneto = Magunito
Whether I'm right or wrong, I want this in game. Imagine that Cuban Missile Crisis scene in X-Men First Class where Magneto manipulates ordinance mid-air, but all the freaking time.
