All the short ones are terrible and will never be Enterprise, I'm sorry. Especially Battleship Girl Enterprise, wtf even is that design? You call that joke Enterprise? Strangely enough myss-burrito's OC Enterprise is my favorite out of all of these, she fits the legacy and legend of Big E so well.

I wish Azur Lanes Enterprise was even half as good as the myss-burrito Enterprise. After spending a lot of time with Big E in Azur Lane, I came to see that she's really underwhelming in both presence and looks, not really fit for the name Enterprise. Warship girls Enterprise is okay, I'll take her over Azur Lane Enterprise, but she's still meh. That is what I think anyways.

I like Pacific's interpretation of Enterprise, just cause have a lot of recommendations and experience doesn't mean you should be boastful about it.

An Enterprise shipgirl before the shipgirls of Kancolle and the Enterprise of AL. Kinda makes me wonder if this was the first shipgirl personification type of drawing. Probably not the case, but seems like one of the oldest, or at least older than KC.

Honestly, my headcanon Enterprise is an energetic bokukko tomboy with short curly hair and the personality of a shounen protagonist.

"HAHAHA! One or two bombs are no match for AMERIKAN FIGHTAN SPIRIT!!"

The fact only one of those has Grey Hair and others are all F'ing blonds pretty much shows how damn little the others thought about their designs.

The Azur Lane design is really good and WAY better then any of the others. If KC ever does put here in they're going to have a serious hurdle to try and get over to beat it.

Yeah that'd doesn't really work to well when your many of your friends and both your sisters are dead, several of them killed right in front of you in situations that if you had been just a bit better you might theoretically have been able to prevent. You cannot IMO personify an Enterprise without at least a bit of a survivors guilt and dash of self-loathing.

I believe that is her when she first comes in then couple modernization later when she becomes CVN6 she becomes dark and edgy

Well, only if there's one of those alternate history justice for CV-6 things where she didn't become razor blades because Halsey somehow couldn't raise money to turn the most famous carrier in history into a museum.

Still, if there's an alternate personality Kai-ni N or something, how would that affect the inevitable Zuikaku shipping? Enterprise and Zuikaku are hot-blooded rivals at first, then Zui goes for the "he's so angsty I can change him" route when Enterprise changes?

(Ah, didn't see this was posed that last one because it was downvoted before I noticed it... People sure are defensive about purely subjective personal ideas of what a ship means to a given person.) It'd be as bad an idea for KanColle to copy the route AL took as if AL just made carbon copies of the KanColle versions of characters. The only thing worse than coming out with Enterprise later than the competition is making it a shallow copy.

Besides that, that sort of shounen determination can work (and arguably only really seems meaningful) when it's in the face of something anyone else would despair before. Because, you know, everyone remembers Simon the Digger for how he never stopped moping, right? So launch planes beyond Heavy Damage, and kick angstiness to the curb! Enterprise is a ship that keeps dodging attacks that would sink lesser ships and keeps coming at the enemy no matter how many times she's knocked down, even when she's the last carrier standing on her side in the Pacific (while Sara's in dock). That all reads as "GUTS shonen action hero" stuff to me.

I seriously doubt Enterprise will ever come to KanColle unless it's endgame or someone high up changes their mind. Even if she does come she'll just be a platonic weeb like the rest of the foreign ships, or vastly different from what the less-Japanophile KC fans expect. /shrug/ Still, one can always dream.

As a rule:

No matter the incarnation, CV-6 Enterprise will always be Best Girl™ of any shipgirl franchise. Her determination to push on against overwhelming odds that would sink lesser ships and still come out on top. To persevere in the most severe damage and injuries. To fight even though she's the last carrier standing (Enterprise vs. Japan). She was there at the start of the war, and was also there when it ended (Operation Magic Carpet).

Other ships will always have a reason to be 2nd best, but Best Girl is always CV-6 Enterprise.
