• Fiends
"Definitely fine women. As long as you look past the one eye, odd limbs and the fact that she's covered in animal blood." - A miner's words
A monster with the body of a woman with giant claws, the legs of a goat and one large eye.
They inhabit wetlands and the depth of forests, seldom revealing themselves to humans, but their brute strength is obvious at a glance so one must be cautious of them.
Their arms in particular, made up of one piece from the wrist, can be swung like hammers that can annihilate an ox in one hit. If you do encounter a Fiend in the deep woods, do not approach them carelessly under any circumstances. At a glance they may appear as a kind of demi-human, but what lies behind can without a doubt be called a ferocious beast. These creatures cannot speak or feel as humans do, they are monsters incapable of understanding.
No male Fiends have ever been discovered.
It is unclear how they breed, but one theory claims that their eye can hypnotize human men to abduct.
In practice, in villages deeply rooted in traditional beliefs, villagers that disappear in the forests are said to have been "charmed by a Fiend".
According to one written account, those that are raised from birth can become friendly to humans. However, the author seems to have discovered firsthand just how they express their affection for their owners.
