Well, actually it does show who is standing there... Check for yourself, the name of the doujinshi is Evangelion RE-TAKE (http://kurogane.animeblogger.net/2006/12/08/re-take-re-share/). iirc, it also 'revealed' who shot Kaji. But,of course, it doesn't have to be true ;) The story is good though.
