Tawawa on Monday #225: Handsfree tapioca drink

Drawing the depth highlights was difficult and took longer than I had thought.
    https://twitter.com/Strangestone/status/1137885202737270784

The tapioca nutrients are safely designed to go in full to reinforcing the "tapioca stand", so don't worry.

Ah yes, the return of the Tawawa challenge.
I have always wonder what’s that in the milk tea that people always drink, some kind of beans?

    Not beans, tapioca jellies.

Usually tapioca pearls. Can also be grass jelly or other chewy substances.

The second commentary tweet defies my attempts at building a meaningful sentence out of it. Help!

Tawawa-brand (if the "T-W" is any indication) tapioca milk tea, actually.

lets wait for the tawawa challenge in twitter from big boobies girls.

but wait, in that position... wont the glass just simply slides through the clothes and ended up with spilled drink?

Depends on friction and whether the top can do the "lip" you can see in the picture, with some clothes it's fairly doable.

So does this mean they're 'official' now? I mean, all the other posts seem to say so but I want more of them being an item dammit! Like Maegami-chan's kind of stuff

While I agree, that this stunt IS doable with clothes alone, but not in this pictured case of clothes...
...or straw has shape that prevents it from slipping out of lid and lid itself can hold full cup - this way breasts do a mere support, negating weight stress on lid.

The other explanation would be, the weight of the drink pushes down on the soft breasts, creating a dimple that holds it in place. Combine this with the bras' cups providing extra support, and voila! Instant cup holder.

It would work on bare skin. We have shirt of unindentified material.
Speaking of drinking things from torso...

There's been a surprising uptick in the number of bubble tea uploads recently. About a quarter of the images with this tag were uploaded within the last month alone. Can anyone explain the sudden interest in the subject? I find it hard to believe that all these artists are just now discovering the magic of tapioca pearls.

Bubble tea is popular in Japan recently. Its availability in Japan has spread more or less over the past year.

In hindsight, I was unwarrantedly fixated on assuming that the second commentary tweet was trying to address the risk of the cup spilling on Ai-chan. I should've tried an out-of-the-box approach once my earlier attempts hit a brick wall.

This isn't the origin of the Tawawa challenge, though. This merely revitalized it.

And now, starting immediately after this one went up, every post with the "Tawawa Challenge" tag has girls balancing drinks on their breasts.

Seems to be the origin of the current trend with drinks they're drinking from though. Don't find similar posts before this post.

Himura isn't the originator of this though, this predates Himura by a couple of days.

Maybe we need a different tag

Pixiv is tagging instances of this new trend under the "Tawawa challenge" tag, though. See for yourself.

I moved it to bubble tea challenge. See Know Your Meme: Hands-Free Bubble Tea / Tapioca challenge; the tags for it on Twitter are #手放しタピオカ (hands-free tapioca) and #タピオカチャレンジ (tapioca challenge).

It's a real shame that most of the tapioca bubble tea you can get at convenience stores and so on just has hard, small bubbles that are overall nasty. I still haven't found a place to get it made fresh around here.
