I wonder - in this universe, do medusae have the ability to undo their own petrifaction curse?

All this because the very first image in this pool, in which this kid got petrified, was clearly a one-shot gag where the possibility of exploring the consequences of that action hadn't yet been explored by the author. Now that the setting is one where consequences get explored, there's this poor petrified kid that's being dragged back and forth across the plot without anything resembling either justice or reparation.

I do hope this gets sorted out sensibly at some point.

Technically, you don't age when you turned into stone. It's like frozen in ice, but more permanent.

Hence, the girl outgrew her brother and became older, thus reversing their relation from elder brother + little sister into big sister + little brother.

Also I'm maybe or maybe not drunk.

It doesn't, although calling someone "brother" tends to be older (to younger siblings, you generally just call them by name, but this one is just "brother" because he doesn't have a name...)

Well, this setting also has legalized slavery that no one really sees anything wrong with.

I like to tell myself that they only sell slaves to people dumb enough that they can't stop the slaves from freeing themselves.

I bet she sold one of, if not both of, the statues the Lady of the Lake gave her in order to afford that vehicle.

Thinking about it now, if the statue of the boy was pure gold, and not something like gold-plated bronze or brass, the Lady of the Lake gave her 60 to 100+ pounds of boy-shaped gold. By today's standards, she would be a millionaire now.

Her brother getting turned to stone by a gorgon and kidnapped by a nymph in exchange for that much capitol would easily be the best thing that happened in her entire life if she wasn't so pissed.

I imagine the silver statue would be worth a bundle as well.
