The rifle does not simply qualify as the AK-74M or any AK-100 series. Its receiver looks milled just like the original AK-47, notice the lack of visible rivets and wider rectangular indentation. Contrary to the fact that almost all modern AKs with synthetic black furniture which are currently in production always come with stamped receivers.

Unlike newer AKs, the fixed buttstock also looks slanted just like the AK-47.
