I have absolutely no idea what the character Faith is like, I've never played mirror's edge. But it's obvious the edit has been reborn as a completely new image, putting the whole story (/character design) on it's head. The original expression is lost, the new Faith looks softer, feminine and simply prettier. -"Now, is that bad?" -"Yes, because it's not what I'm used to! (I can't deal with changes...)" -"Well, that's obviously your own problem..." -"What do you mean? What's my problem?" -"That you don't like pretty girls anymore, simply because the developer thinks Faith should not look better than average. But guess what, I bet the developer faps to the edit. Learn reading between the lines: "A 12 y.o. with a boob job."" -"Ohhhhhhhh....." -"Yes, that's right, my confused friend."
I just read the comparison review on Kotaku and agree with one of the commenters that perhaps, in future action games, the developer(s) might include a BoobSize configuration in the Options menu or something - kind of like DOA's bounce option, but evolved.
And IMHO, the developer should take a pill and not take the fan-art too seriously, since ANY female character is going to get the FapFodder treatment, regardless of original attributes...
That's kind of racist, actually. Japanese people do tend to have rounder faces, smaller noses, etc., and if you're not used to it the girls can look much younger than they are. You don't have to put it that way, though.

I don't think he meant anything racially. What he was trying to say is they were going for a mature tough looking female character.

id take the face of the one on the rigth the body and face paint of the one on the left, match em. and be done with it. she looks more humain with the face on the rigth. the real face aka the left one..looks overexagerated..too angry..to much hate
Original beats all. Many seem to tell that the eyes are too slanted and all that. They don´t bother me, and the makeup also creates that sort of illusion there. The edit tries to make her just an average anime-girl. This is certainly most "extreme" official art of her, but I still love this one too, have it as my desktop. = )
I kinda like what one commenter did. About the only thing I notice is the 'new' eyes, which matched with everything else made her look kinda crazed (though I'm not sure if that makes things better).
