Okay, 'fess up, what retard tagged this pic with "areola", of all things? Do you even know what that word means, Moebius Strip?

I would have thought that the term did apply here. By all means, post your counter-explanation.

BTW, I've never seen a bayonet on a pistol before - it's the kind of thing I only ever associated with older rifles, i.e. bolt-action and muzzleloaders.

    A hand-gun with a bayonet is stupid.

Areola, kind sir, is the area *around* the nipple. What can be seen here is barely enough for a nipple. Therefore there can't be any areola in the pic.

葉月, you seem to be contradicting yourself. Logically, if the areola is *around* the nipple, then it should come into view *before* the nipple itself does. Thus it is possible for the areola to be visible while the nipple is not, which does appear to be the case here.

It might be small but the areola is here IMO.

    Yes, and?

Of course it's possible, but it's not the case here, *BECAUSE THE AREOLA ISN'T DRAWN*. It's not a matter of logic, but the simple fact that this particular depiction of breasts lacks areola, so tagging it with it makes no sense. It's like tagging a quadruplegic amputee with "barefoot", logically, they aren't wearing any shoes, but that doesn't make it a pic of bare feet.

Should I point out that 'colt m1911' is a misnomer because any manufacturer could make a 1911? (Including Singer sewing machines)

Then what, pray tell, is the bit of pink showing on her right breast? That sure looks like part of the areola to me.

i'm inclined to agree, since the whole nipple isn't shown but the outer part it has to be an areola.

Actually, you were claiming earlier that it would be impossible for any areola to be visible in this picture.

If you want, I can post the original xcf so you can drag the layer opacity slider around until you're convinced.

Misnomer? What are you suggesting as an alternative - "1911-type"? ".45 ACP"?

If you can identify any Singer 1911 sewing machines, I'm sure you are free to tag them as such too. ;-)

maybe he's implying that since "any manufacturer" could make one, it's impossible to tell if any given one is manufactured by Colt...

Bansho, you are right to say that without sufficient detail, it could be impossible to distinguish an original Colt-made 1911 from the many clones (or perhaps a riced-out original Colt 1911). My question still stands: what tag should replace colt_m1911? Just plain m1911, or m1911_type?

Definately not following the areola argument. The raised center is the nipple, not shown here, the colored area around that point is the areola regardless of size or the sharpness of the boundary. I'd argue the areola certainly is drawn here.

"M1911A1 MAID'S CUSTOM", apparently the choice of the modern "Musketeer", if the knife's markings are any indication.

Oh, and for the record: Singer made M1911s during WWII, Česká Zbrojovka actually currently makes a bayonet for the CZ75, and I see boobies.

BTW, I didn't create the colt_m1911 tag. I just started applying it because at the time it seemed to make sense. Now, I know that many manufacturers have made their own product based on the same design, and I also know that too much detail appears to offend some members here. But simply putting "1911" looks too much like a generic date reference.

That's why I suggest something like model_1911 - this both removes the specific manufacturer AND distinguishes the number from the plain year.

Bleaugh. At least one janitor is squirming.

It's not even a 1911. It's more closer to a 2011 with it being close to the double stack designs of an SV Infinity or STI Eagle/Edge.
