Female player characters seem to always overshadow their male counterparts in anime styled games. In my opinion people pick females since a majority come off with a moe aesthetic. Plus fan creations can also skew one’s opinion.
Its moreso for Sw/Sh, because Gloria has all the angry Scottish memes going for her too.
