I hope no one's too disappointed that this isn't a Rocketshippy pic, but after looking back at my old pics I'd done of Jessie and James as kids, I felt the need to do something updated, and to have Meowth in there, too.

I love Jessie, James and Meowth's friendship with each other and wanted to illustrate that here. It is rather angsty at first glance, as it's showing their lives before they met, but each one of them has that hope that there are friends for them somewhere, who are waiting for them.

And now, those three can't live without each other, no matter how many fights they get into, they're always the best of friends at the end of the day. I love how close they are, like a family. ^_^
