Wouldn't it be simpler to just tag these character with their real names? Maple here for instance would be referred to as honjou_kaede and so on.

It is basically follows the same rule from Magical Girl Rising Project.

So basically Maple for her "avatar" in the game and her real name for the latter.

I think it's better to shorten her character name's qualifier (kinda like aqua_(konosuba)), while keeping the copyright name unchanged. What's the official short name for this anyway?
