And that is exactly what you do NOT do on Danbooru.
When tagging an image, go only by what is visible in that specific image. In this pic, there is nothing to identify Ichigo - we can see neither his face nor his hair color nor any other identifying marks. Thus, it doesn't matter if it's supposed to be Ichigo, or Chad, or Ulquiorra or whoever.
Do not use meta-knowledge like that when tagging images here.
So when we see a frame in a comic where we don't see the face of the main character, but only part of his body, do we not tag him?
We're going by the rest of this picture series, and what else the artist has drawn. Ichigo's name was even mentioned in the artists other picture. This IS Ichigo. Period.
I don't recall saying anything to deserve a heated response. Cool it before the mods step in. And again, other pics have little to no bearing on this one. If they're in a series, put them in a pool, but don't tag one image based on info gleaned from another.
This isn't opinion, or even just assuming, this is logic and common sense.
For another site, maybe. But this is Danbooru, and the rule is "tag what you see, not what you know".
Plus, here is the real deal breaker... zoom in close enough and you can see his signature hair between her legs.
Not clear enough. With that same hair color, it could just as easily be Hirako Shinji. It's barely visible, and with that being the only (disputably) distinguishing mark, that's not enough to tag it.
According to Amun-Ra and CO BROKEN logic, Im going to add the tags "sword", "feet", (And maybe even blood, what the hell) and whatever other shit I KNOW they have but I cant see.
I already mentioned Hirako Shinji. That little bitty flash of hair doesn't clarify the style, and the hair color's close enough that - with that shading - it's not distinctive enough.
you guys are half and half right in my opinion. if this pic is part of a pool for doujin for instance. then amun's argument would seem really more credible. but sgc is right though if it's not clarified by that then it's really just assumptions. and you can't really tag things based on that, it only leads to confusion.
On the subject of pools, perhaps this should be listed as a child post along with the rest of the related images? Found it kinda annoying to have to go and find em through tags. Plus, it would kill this little argument once and for all.

Actually I'm kinda unsure if it should be a child post, pool, or leave it alone. I'm new and kinda unfamiliar with the whole Childpost thing. And a pool may be too much for just a few images. >.>
As for the arguement, perhaps you guys should ask the artist if that's Ichigo under there or not?
