This other "anomalous" one doesn't have flowers on her arm. Wonder if it's an error or something important

Curious if a. otters also operate in a team, with the flower stick wielder their version of “mask”.

Well, the anomalous is supposed to learn from its experience from battling the otters so now maybe it's learned that the otters will Zerg rush the flower wielder.

Possibly killing an infected spreads the infection onto others. May have made the situation way worse for themselves.

Or this was all a trap to gain control of the elevator and leave the otters on this floor

Anomalous Otter has been stated to not be able to go near the elevator, and there are supposed to be around 10 other otters waiting behind the ones that attacked A!Otter, along with most likely at least one otter still back in the standby room.

Ah ok. Also i misstook the final panel as an elevator but it just looks like a normal room. There goes my theory.

Any author notes for this one? There is definitely more to the A!Otter(s) than we were first told.

This anomalous had a whole lot of "fun". Wonder if the regulars are going to use the flower stick now that they've obtained one.

Looks like the flower stick is drooping/ falling apart. It was physically connected to the dead A!Otter...

It was already stated that those flowers won't infect the otters.

From what google mangled of that note, it's that the A!Otter is temporally anomalous as well. I don't really trust google's translation, but if A!Otter is a time traveler, it could be the first otter, last otter, or even an uroboros. Nothing mentioned of the flowers. They're just flowers that sprout and take root in places you really don't want them to. Like your brain.

My guess? Considering the anomolous nature of this place. The cursed(?) Otters might very well be future version of the the "current" Otters. Still doing their mission of exploring and understanding this place, but likely a bit more mad (or sane? who knows?)

But yeah, I agree that they are likely either the Original one or something from the future.

Note also that the backpack looks an awful lot like the control panel for the elevator! Maybe it's some sort of teleporter?

The Anomalous Otter's input being ten digits, even more than for the alien floor, can be explained because she moves along the time axis as well as through space...! Yeah, that'll work.

Time traveler it is. So it literally just watched its own death. No wonder it was laughing- it knew the end had come, and (being still, at heart, a Giant Otter) it was going to have fun, death be damned.

And reminder that A!otter can adapt and learn every tactic those otters can do...

Funny thing, this one doesn't have the flower stick or the associated wounds(?)/ tentacles. It could well be that this is it chronologically "younger", at a point where it didn't know of the existence of the stick... which the Giant Otter Squad revealed the existence of, and its properties, to thanks to their fierce battle. It's death may be set in stone, but as a time traveler it can harass them as long as they keep exploring, and exactly because its death is a set point in time they cannot kill it "before" that, and not before it has the stick. Well, not without creating a time paradox...

The obvious answer: There was more than one. There was ALWAYS more than one. There is now one less, but there is still more than one.

I just came to a realization that A!otter doesn't need to go near the elevator or the clone room as she already has one strapped behind her. so she can go anywhere and make cones at will. Clone room also has the same panel.
