I didn’t post it as a child of an old post I just posted the image and he simply tagged himself as a child of an old post.

That's not how the site works. Also https://danbooru.donmai.us/reports/upload_tags?user_id=712625 all your uploads seem to have the same problem. Are you sure you're not accidentally writing in the parent field in the upload page?
