As the name had struck a rather bad tone before in the KC side of things, I would be taking a look at the comments closely.

she looks futuristic. Also much better than her kc counterpart.

Looks great. I already love the KC version. Looks like I'm going to love this one too.

The design is a bit futuristic. It also mentions that she likes space. Probably because she's now an air & space museum. I dig it. Hope she has a great personality or at least funny faces like Essex haha. Also, Ai Fairouz getting roles left and right recently. Good for her.

Even if I don't bad mouth Shibafu's art style, I still believe AL's Intrepid is superior just as the design goes.

Just look at it, it has a supersonic jet and a freaking space shuttle on it. It also participated the Gemini space project in 1965.
The history of Intrepid just doesn't fit KC's design, which looks more like a farmer girl in the Midwest or something like that.

KC Intrepid's design fits the WW2 theming of KC as a whole. AL Intrepid is futuristic as it's the game's theme. Both fit the aesthetics of their respective games.

Lots of people were disappointed with Intrepid's design when she debuted in Kantai Collection (post #3027979).

to add what colBoh said people were expecting a non potato design (Shimada Fumikane, Konishi or even Shizuma Yoshinori) but all they got was vodka... or was it potato... exquisitely grown in a certain potato farm.

imo, kc has a much better atlanta. I'm not going to take sides in the sense I'm not going to say the art of one side is always better, but I will take sides on individual ships based on my personal preferences.

she's got already got a servant, a shipgirl, an Idol fan, a gyaru of sorts..
maybe in the next months she'll get a Magical Girl of any kind(cant discount the Additional Cure for Healin good of course) a Fighting game character(here's to a new character in KOF XV), romcom, Isekai, what else...ecchi anime...

every big event more or less will have a potato boat I even posted on the KC wiki that she will be the potato boat of the event when her data was data mined (no picture yet as she wasnt fully implemented yet) I wonder if I got downvoted to heck but what ever
