squint-eyed person is still cross-eyed ^_^"

The Italian expression "strabismo di Venere" refers to a slight strabismus that does not detract from a woman's beauty, but in fact makes her face more interesting, as with the eponymous goddess (see http://tinyurl.com/34khkv. It doesn't look like the equivalent expression "Venus's strabismus" is used in English, but I'm sure you'll agree that only a fool would complain about this girl's eyes.

The more you Know

Although the 'strab' in 'strabismus' does apparently mean 'squint,' I'm not convinced this particular person is squint-eyed per se.

Damn English langauge defines 'squint' as either 'misaligned' or 'partly closed.' What the hell kind of discrepancy is that?
