OKAY, settle down there. I had to wiki it. In case anyone else is wallowing in ignorance like me, "Oxen (singular ox) are cattle trained as draft animals. Often they are adult, castrated males."

And YES, spotted cow pelts are hot in the proper setting. I didn't have to wiki that.
