Ch'en and Talulah are confirmed to be (step)sisters, it's in Chapter 6, and frankly I would consider the photo of Ch'en and Talulah in Ch'en's family home in Chapter 5 to be pretty strong evidence to begin with. That cutscene made it abundantly clear that Ch'en wasn't allowed to have friends, or go outside, or be fucking happy, so why would her father have allowed a photo to be taken, and kept all this time, of a non-family member? Even the idea of them being childhood friends is hardly hinted at, you literally see a photo of Ch'en and Talulah together as children, how could they not at least be childhood friends? Like at least 2/3 of chapter 5 basically screams at you that they have a strong history with each other.
Just cause you don't like it doesn't mean it isn't canon, facts are facts, and they've been pretty clearly spelled out even without being explicitly stated.

well, excuse me for my ignorance and not having even reached Ch5 yet, just like the two above me who was also completely bewildered by the statement in spoiler that gives no context whatsoever as to how the train of thought even arrived there in the first place, since the AK wiki is godforsaken and provided fuck all for story and even toolbox gives insight only on the political battle of Ch5.
Facts or no facts, every fandom is going to have quite a few theory-weavers, and it has always been rather difficult for newcomers to discern between the so-called "facts" and fan-theory unless they have reached that point in the story/have access to other means of diving deep into the story.
Just like the whole Kal'tsit and Doctor being a married couple pre-amnesia which is just an unconfirmed theory because shippers gonna ship, or the SilverAsh forcing you to fuck his sisters to continue the bloodline, also an overblown meme created by thirsty fans. When you give absolutely no context, of course newcomers to the fandom are going to take it as face value, then only until Words of God are given will they realize all this time they have been living on a lie.

And please don't use ' I haven't cleared the story chapter yet' excuse to shift your fault to someone else. There's a lot of platform, hell even here, where you can ask people about the story. This is why I am excited for chapter 6, among other reasons, but I like the reveal and the confrontation against Wei, showing that this is not simply Rhodes Island vs Reunion
my guess about the relationships between them is that Talulah was favored by their father, but due to an accident she became infected, kicked out from the clan. Chen, being neglected but stay for Talulah, found out that her sister left, went abroad and never return home since, until the ch5 cutscene plays out.
